Furano is a centrally located city in Hokkaido at bottom of ski hill allowing access to great food and unforgettable cultural experiences. It is fast becoming one of the most popular ski fields for Australians after Niseko. Average snowfall is 9m per season. The new Furano lift pass has an extended access to best off-piste mountains in Central Hokkaido such as Kamui Ski Links and Tomamu. Furano also has Japan's only Ski Host programme made up of local English speaking volunteers to assist you with finding restaurants, bars, museums galleries and all events and activities on Furano. It is located approximately 3 hours train or bus ride from Sapporo Airport however, the most convenient access point is Asahikawa Airport which is only 1 hour away.

North Country Inn Furano

North Country Inn is the perfect mix of Japanese tradition and Western comfort. There are shuttle buses available for guests to get to the ski lifts and shopping area. All rooms are equipped with its own facilities with shared onsen baths in the property. It also has 2 restaurants, winery, lounge/bar area with satellite TV, foreign exchange, wireless internet, souvenir shops, and common laundry. North Country Inn can also assist guest with car rental, ski hire and day tours to Tomamu, Kamui and volcano hot spring.

Furano Prince Hotel

Furano Prince Hotel is an architecturally appealing European chalet style hotel, providing, full ski in ski out access of Kitanomine Zone of Furano Ski Area. It is slightly smaller than New Furano Prince Hotel, with 112 rooms in total with some non smoking rooms available. Facilities include 2 restaurants, convenience store, ski rental and Japanese style bath house.
