Arrive at New Tokyo International Airport (Narita Airport). Local staff will meet clients at the custom's exit and assist them in boarding airport bus. Transfer to hotel. Overnight at hotel in Tokyo Half day tour of Tokyo. Morning, visit Tokyo Tower Observatory, Imperial Palace Plaza, Sensoji Temple (Asakusa Kannon) & Nakamise Shopping Arcade and Tasaki Pearl Gallery. Afternoon, free at leisure.
Full day excursion to Nikko by motor coach. Visit Nikko Toshogu Shrine. After Japanese-style lunch at local restaurant, Irohazaka zigzag driveway up to the mountains visit Lake Chuzenji and Kegon Waterfall. Irohazaka zigzag driveway down the mountains back to Tokyo. Tour disbands on arrival at Ginza or Shinjuku. No drop-off service provided.
Visit Iinuma Honke, Japanese sake brewery and Naritasan Shinshoji Temple. After Japanese-style lunch, visit Boso no Mura Museum. Tour disbands on arrival at Hamamatsucho Bus Terminal between 18:00-19:00. No drop-off service provided. Deluxe motor coach to halfway up Japan's highest mountain to enjoy a spectacular view from a height of 2,300 meters. Enjoy a Japanese-style lunch. Afternoon, visit Hakone for a cruise on Lake Ashi (Ashinoko Yuransen) and Mt. Komagatake Ropeway. Evening, take a bullet train to Kyoto. Overnight at hotel in Kyoto.
Morning sightseeing of Kyoto, visiting Kinkakuji Temple, Nijo Castle and Kyoto Imperial Palace. Lunch at Kyoto Handicraft Center. After lunch, sightseeing of the city visiting Sanjusangendo Temple, Heian Jingu Shrine and Kiyomizudera Temple. Overnight at Kyoto. Free at leisure until departure. (Departure time is announced at your hotel on the day before departure.) Transfer to Kansai Airport by seat sharing van. Morning sightseeing of Kyoto, visiting Kinkakuji Temple, Nijo Castle and Kyoto Imperial Palace. Lunch at Kyoto Handicraft Center. After lunch, sightseeing of the city visiting Sanjusangendo Temple, Heian Jingu Shrine and Kiyomizudera Temple. Return to Tokyo by bullet train in the evening. Overnight at hotel in Tokyo. One Way Trip: Your baggage will be transported by land from Tokyo to Kyoto on Day 5 with allowance of one piece per person. For extra baggage, 2,200yen will be charged per piece.
Round Trip: Baggage carriage is not included. Please carry your baggage on your own. However, trains do not have areas for storing large pieces of baggage. We recommend leaving large pieces of baggage at your hotel in Tokyo while you travel by train.
