We enjoyed our land part of our recent Japan trip

Dear Bianca,
I am writing to say how much we enjoyed our land part of our recent Japan trip.
We loved arriving to see our names for shared airport to hotel transfer.
We enjoyed the early arrival the first day as it gave us time to walk and get our bearings, locate and check the walk time to the tour departure Keio Plaza hotel, and to exchange our JR. Voucher and book our bullet train trip.
The century Southern tower in Tokyo and New Miyako hotel in Kyoto were incredibly comfortable and in an excellent location close to train transport and tours. The included breakfasts set us up for the day. The only downside is we didn't eat as many Japanese boxed lunches as intended as we felt so well fed! An afternoon ice cream was all that was needed.
We enjoyed the sunrise tours but we're a little weary on the 2 half day tours in Kyoto trying to visit 6 locations (3 in each) on a day that they had 6 tours coming in for lunch and so we had to wait 1 hour to be seated for lunch. They ran out of some food as the afternoon tours to Nara were fed first. Apparently this was the first day they had 6 tours the week before it was 2 . Part of the 'problem 'was it was right in time for excellent cherry blossom viewing!
Our hotel to port pickup went smoothly too.
We loved our cruise.
I think I might have been able to book some tours in ports through JTravel but I never gave that a thought until I saw that some guests had your leaflets outside their cabin .
Many thanks
Jill and Jeff
