Day 1 Shinchitose → Lake Nukabira

Shinchitose → Lake Nukabira

Today you will ride from Shinchitose through to Lake Nukabira. After landing in Hokkaido, you will depart from the Shin Chitose Shop and ride all the way to Tomamu, a wonderful resort area. From here, enjoy some riding in the Karikachi area on the awesome Karikachi Pass. In Shikaoi, riders who chose to do so may purchase a wonderful lunch set sampling some of the area's fresh vegetables, before enjoying the beauty of Shikaribetsu Lake. You will end the day at the wonderful sightseeing area of the Mikuni Pass before relaxing in your hotel at Nukabira Lake, also a popular hot spring area.

Day 2 Lake Nukabira → Abashiri

Lake Nukabira → Abashiri

Today you will ride from Lake Nukabira through to Abashiri. Stop to visit Nukabira Lake, a human-made lake built in 1956 with the completion of the Nukabira Dam, to enjoy the iconic view of the Lake area. You will then ride onward to the beautiful Onneto waterfalls, part of Onneto Lake, in the Akan Mashu National Park, a tropical miracle designed as a natural monument in 2000. After stopping for lunch at your leisure, you will head to the Akan Lake area, to enjoy more wonderful sightseeing, and another beautiful lake view will wait for you at the next location - Kussharo Lake, a beautiful caldera lake with a circumference of 57 kilometres. You will end the day with some riding on the Bihoro Pass before arriving at your hotel in Abashiri.

Day 3 Abashiri → Kushiro

Abashiri → Kushiro

Today you will ride from Abashiri through to Kushiro. On this day you will see unique wonders that you might never expect to experience in Japan. The first highlight will be the Shiretoko Pass in the Shiretoko Peninsula, located in the eastern Hokkaido. Here, enjoy a wide variety of wildlife including red foxes, deers, and also brown bears, which make it a unique location. Later in the day, travel to Notsuke Peninsula, a 28-kilometer-long peninsula right next to Odaito Bay, 30 kilometres driving from Nakashibetsu. This place features a dramatic landscape of native flowers and amazing forests filled with wildfowl and grazing deer, which makes it another wonderful example of Hokkaido's unique and fascinating biodiversity. In the evening ride to your hotel in Kushiro and refresh yourself overnight.

Day 4 Kushiro → Kami-Furano

Kushiro → Kami-Furano

Today you will ride from Kushiro through to Furano. Today you will reach first the city of Obihiro, Hokkaido’s most important agricultural area. Founded in 1883 as an industrial city, to gradually become a characteristic of Hokkaido’s touristic place. Riders who choose to do so have the option of visiting Kofuku Station, whose name is translated as “Happiness Station”, considered one of the most romantic stations in Japan. other sightseeing places of interest in the area include scenic nature parks such as Midorigaoka Park and Manabe Garden and the majestic Shikaribetsu Lake, part of the Daisetsu-zan National Park. Riding onward, you will reach your next destination at Furano. Located in the centre of the Hokkaido region, Furano is mostly famous for its flower fields, especially of lavender, one of the main agricultural products of the Hokkaido region until the 1960s, when they changed their status to tourist attraction. Also famous in this area are the cheese factories, where interested riders may be able to purchase a ticket to enjoy the cheese-making process during your visit. You will then end the day in Kami-Furano, relaxing at your hotel between the fields.

Day 5 Kami-Furano → Shinchitose

Kami-Furano → Shinchitose

Today you will ride from Furano back to Shinchitose. A highlight of the day will be the relaxing ride through the Furano and Yubari area, enjoying the view of the extremely colourful fields in the summer season. The second main highlight is the city of Yubari; located in Sorachi prefecture, this area is hemmed in mountains and stretches for 25 km along the mountain valley. Originally born as a mines city, in 1980, these were closed to enhance the natural beauty of the area, featuring mountains and extremely gorgeous rivers. The closure of the mines changed the status of the city to a tourism area. Famous is also the Yubari Melon, a quality melon registered under its own brand and considered one of the most delicious in the country. At the end of the day, you will head back to the Shinchitose shop where staff will be waiting for you to help you with the returning procedures and to hear everything about your Hokkaido adventure.
