Tokyo - Asamushi Onsen (L, D)

Day 1

Tokyo - Asamushi Onsen (L, D)

Welcome! This tour will start at Tokyo station.
Take a bullet train then local train to Asamushi onsen in Aomori prefecture.

Stay at a traditional Japanese inn, Ryokan, and indulge in a Kaiseki Dinner. Following dinner, enjoy the "Asamushi Onsen Fire Works" the pre festival for "Aomori Nebuta festival".


Overnight at Yanagi no Yu or similar  (3.5 Star Ryokan)

Asamushi Onsen - Hirosaki (B, L, D)

Day 2

Asamushi Onsen - Hirosaki (B, L, D)

(On request base) Our guide will take you for a morning walk around Asamushi area about 1h. After the morning walk, enjoy breakfast. 

Check out of the ryokan and transfer to Hirosaki.
Leave your suit case at Hirosaki Park Hotel, your room will be ready at 15:00.
Lunch at local Ramen restaurant then visit Hirosaki Castle(Hirosaki Park).

Early evening, you will have a Izakaya dinner.
Hirosaki Neputa festivalwill be start at 18:30.

Hirosaki - Aomori - Hirosaki (B, D)

Day 3

Hirosaki - Aomori - Hirosaki (B, D)

After breakfast, you will take the sightseeing tour.

Visit Rice Field Art and Aomori Warasse for Nebuta museum.
You will have shopping time at A-factory which is duty-free market style shopping centre selling local products. Products containing apple's are a specialty of Aomori prefecture.

Dinner at local restaurant, then you will enjoy Aomori Nebuta festival.

After the festival, back to Hirosaki.

Hirosaki - Juuniko Lake - Akita (B, L, D)

Day 4

Hirosaki - Juuniko Lake - Akita (B, L, D)

After breakfast, leave Hirosaki and take a scenic train "Resort Shirakami" to Juuniko lake. In the train, you will enjoy Tsugaru Shamisen(Japanese 3 stringed guitar) playing. Lunch at local restaurant, you will have a walk around Juuniko lake. Get back to Resort Shirakami and transfer to Akita. Check in at your hotel and then have dinner at local restaurant for traditional local meal Kiritanpo Pot.

Akita - Kakunodate - Akita (B, D)

Day 5

Akita - Kakunodate - Akita (B, D)

After breakfast, take a bullet train to Samurai town Kakunodate. You will visit a large sized Samurai House, which has beautifully presented gardens. The buildings are used as the museums. Collections of Samurai Sword, Armors, and more.
Back to Akita by bullet train.

In the afternoon, visit "Minzoku Geino Densho-kan" which is museum for Kanto Festival.
Enjoy a Local Inaniwa Udon noodle dinner.

Watchi Kanto Festival on reserved seat. Performers are keeping balance on colossal bamboo poles strung with lanterns down the streets.

Akita - Sendai (B, D)

Day 6

Akita - Sendai (B, D)

After breakfast, check out the hotel and transfer Akita to Sendai by bullet train. Leave your suit case at Sendai hotel (room is available at 15:00), take a local bus to Nikka Whiskey Distillery. The Miyagikyo Distillery creating Japanese finest single malt whiskey. You can enjoy the whiskey tasting. Back to Sendai and enjoy "Tanabata Festival". Thousands of colourful streamers decorate.

Have a Shabu Shabu dinner and back to the accommodation.


Overnight stay at APA Hotel Sendai Itsutsubashi or similar (3 Star Hotel)

 

Sendai - Matsushima - Sendai - Tokyo (B, L)

Day 7

Sendai - Matsushima - Sendai - Tokyo (B, L)

Breakfast at hotel. Leave your suit case at the hotel and Half day sightseeing for Matsushima by train. You will have an experience for powdered green tea with Japanese confectionary.

Back to Sendai and try to have a local cuisine Beef Tongue set menu.


Free time until depart from Sendai. 
Take a bullet train to Tokyo Station.

Tour will be finish at Tokyo station.
