Day 1 Fukuoka → Nagasaki

Fukuoka → Nagasaki

Today you will ride from Fukuoka to Nagasaki. The first stop on this tour after departing the store must be to fill your stomach with local delicious food. Passing through Itoshima, and arriving in Yobuko, a fishing port town, you will have the opportunity to purchase and try fresh squid sashimi! Manbo is a unique restaurant which is located under the sea - enjoy watching fish under the water while eating lunch! One of the highlights today is Ikitsuki Island. With a white lighthouse located on the tip north of the island, you can see the beautiful horizon from the observatory. Aptly named, Sunset Road, the road winding up to the lighthouse provides fantastic sunset views at "golden hour" if you plan  your travel at the right time.

Day 2 Nagasaki → Kumamoto

Nagasaki → Kumamoto

While the route on Day 1 was mostly along the coast line. Today, you will ride mountainous roads - travelling from Nagasaki to Kumamoto. Starting from Kitamatsu Yamabiko Road, you will pass through Arita, a small town known for its very famous ceramics. Interested riders can stop and purchase and experience of porcelain painting or wheel throwing here. Your masterpiece will be sent to your home once it is fired and completed. We recommend that you also purchase a bowl of Chanpon; a delicious local noodle dish, for your lunch today. Once you cross the border from Nagasaki prefecture into Kumamoto, you'll find you have entered a foodie's paradise! Beef, horse meat, Karashi Renkon, Ichimoji Guruguru… the list is endless and the adventurous among you will want to purchase and try many of the interesting and delicious foods which are difficult to find outside of Kumamoto. With full bellies, enjoy sightseeing around Kumamoto at your leisure for the rest of the day.

Day 3 Kumamoto → Fukuoka

Kumamoto → Fukuoka

Today you will ride from Kumamoto back to Fukuoka. Starting from Milk Road (a must ride attraction for many Japanese), riding this vast grassland is an experience in itself. If you're up early enough in the morning, you may even get the added bonus of being able to see Cloud Sea from Daikanbo. On a sunny day, you might consider stopping by the Kokonoe Dream Suspended Bridge, where you can see great view of the Kokonoe nature. Not far from the bridge, there is a Tea House in the Mountainous Pass where riders may opt to purchase the well-known charcoal-grilled chicken, to be enjoyed with a view of the suspended bridge from the house. With a full stomach, head off to the Iwasaki Collection House. Riders who purchase entry will find 200 classic motorcycles, and other precious collections. Kyushu is a place that draws riders back again and again, and you will understand why after three rich days riding through this glorious area! At the end of the day, return your bike to the store, and head home dreaming of your next Japan adventure.
