Following breakfast, join the Nikko World Heritage 1 Day Tour visiting the most beautiful example of traditional architecture in Japan, Nikko Toshogu Shrine. After a Japanese style lunch at a local restaurant, visit Lake Chuzen-ji and Kegon Falls, one of the three famous waterfalls in Nikko. The tour will finish in the late evening in Shinjuku. 
Please make your own way back to your hotel.

After breakfast, pack a small overnight bag as your main suitcase will be transferred directly from Tokyo to your hotel in Kyoto. Travel by coach up to 2,300 meters on Japan’s highest mountain, Mt. Fuji, to see a spectacular view. After lunch at a local restaurant, proceed for a sightseeing cruise on Lake Ashi. The view of Mt. Fuji in the background from Lake Ashi is iconic in Hakone. Lastly, take a ride on Mt. Komagatake Ropeway to the peak of Mt. Komagatake for a stunning panoramic view of Lake Ashi and Mt. Fuji.
After the tour, transfer from Hakone-en to your accommodation.

Depart from your ryokan after breakfast and head to Odawara to catch the bullet train to Nagoya. From Nagoya, take the limited express train to Takayama. Once in Takayama, there is free time at leisure.

After breakfast, go on the Shirakawa-go Tour; visit the World Heritage Site Gokayama Ainokura, then proceed to Shirakawa-go. For lunch, savour the taste of Japanese home-made cooking exclusive to this region. Afterwards, take a stroll around the thatched-roof village on your own. Continue to Kanazawa by bus.

Have breakfast at your hotel then join a fascinating morning tour of Kanazawa, visiting a former samurai residence at Nagamachi Samuai District, and Kenroku-en Garden, one of the top 3 Japanese gardens which offers amazing seasonal views all year round. Lastly visit Higashi Chaya District where wooden-latticed teahouses line both sides of the stone paved street. This afternoon board the limited express train from Kanazawa to Kyoto and make your own way to your accommodation.

Also stop by Kyoto Imperial Palace which is renowned as a pinnacle for its simplicity of Japanese architecture.
The afternoon is free at leisure.

Day 2: Tokyo Morning Tour
1. If the minimum number of participants is not met by 4 days prior to the tour date, the tour may be cancelled. 
2. Due to the visit of the general public to the palace on Monday, Jan. 2, the Imperial Palace will be viewed from the bus. 
3. The tour will stop by Imperial Palace Plaza to take photos. The Imperial Palace itself will not be entered. 
4. Children age 5 and younger may participate for free, but will not be provided with their own bus seats and must sit on the lap of their parent or guardian. If a seat on the bus is required for the child, please make a booking at child rate.                    

Day 3: Nikko World Heritage Tour

1. If the minimum number of participants (1) is not met by 4 days before the scheduled date, the tour on that date may be cancelled.
2. Heavy traffic due to colored leaves is expected every year on Irohazaka Winding Road from Oct. 11 to Nov. 6. Therefore, Kegon Falls and Lake Chuzenji will not be visited during this period. In such cases, one of the following will be visited instead of Kegon Falls: Taiyuuin Mausoleum at Rinno-ji Temple, Futarasan Shrine, Kirifuri Falls, or Tamozawa Imperial Villa. 
3. The alternative plan outlined in Remark #2 above may be used even outside of the designated period due to road conditions or other reasons. No refunds will be issued as a result of location changes.  
5. The tour will walk up and down steps and hilly paths at Nikko Toshogu Shrine and Kegon Falls. Be sure to wear shoes and clothing which are comfortable to walk in.
6. An earphone guide will be provided to each participant at Nikko Toshogu Shrine. However, if there are less than 15 participants earphone guides may not be used.
A fee of JPY 10,000 may be incurred if an earphone guide is lost or damaged by a participant.
7. As the tour uses a bus for the entire itinerary, arrivals at each site may be delayed due to road conditions.
8. Vegetarian meals, wheat allergy meals, and soy allergy meals must be requested at the time of booking.    
9. Depending on road conditions, the tour may stop at a  different parking area(rest area) instead of the Hankyu Area. In this case, please note that the different rest area will not be a representation of an Edo Period Town.   
              

 Day 4: Mt. Fuji & Hakone Tour

1. Please note that the tour may not visit the Mt. Komagatake Ropeway in cases of heavy traffic, the tour will not be cancelled, and no refunds will be provided in such cases. In addition, the arrival time may also be delayed. ( The estimated arrival time is between 20:00 - 22:00)
2. If Fuji Visitor Centre is closed or the tour is behind schedule due to traffic the visit to Fuji Visitor Centre may be skipped.
3. If Mt. Fuji's 5th Station cannot be reached due to road surface freezing or an accident on the Fuji Subaru Line, the tour will be taken to the highest elevation point possible. No alternative destinations are planned when the tour reaches beyond the 1st Station. When the tour has to turn back at the 1st Station, or when the Fuji Subaru Line is completely blocked, the tour will visit Fujisan World Heritage Center or Lake Kawaguchi Oishi Park. Please note that an alternative itinerary may also be omitted depending on road conditions.
4. As temperatures drop significant on Mt. Fuji, it is highly recommended to bring an overcoat of other warm clothing from fall to spring.
5.The tour will not be cancelled or refunded even if the full view if Mt. Fuji is not visible due to weather conditions.
6. The Komagatake Ropeway or Lake Ashi cruise may be omitted or substituted depending on traffic, weather conditions or other operational concerns. If either or both are omitted the following alternative may be used: Hakone Ropeway, Owakudani Valley, Hakone Point, Narukawa Airt Museum, Hakone Sekisho (checking station) remains, Lake Kawaguchi Cruise, pirate boat on Lake Ashi Kawaguchi Ropeway, Hakone-en Aquarium, Irchiku Kubota Art Museum. The tour will not be cancelled or refunded for such itinerary alteration.
7. Vegetarian meals are available and must be requested at the time of booking.
8. Allergy-friendly meals etc. are not available. Customers with allergies should reserve the tour without lunch plan.
9. GPS-enabled audio guides are available on this tour in Chinese, Spanish, Italian, Thai, French and Indonesian. Please make a request at the time of booking. There are a limited number of audio guides available, so it may not be possible to provide one for each person. Not refunds will be issued even if the audio guide is unusable due to weak signal, device issues, Wi-Fi malfunction, etc. If there are changes to the itinerary, information will not be provided in advance.
9. The bus may make multiple stops at hotels, in the Hakone area after sightseeing concludes.
10. If the minimum number of participants is not met by 4 days before a scheduled date, the tour on the date may be cancelled.
11. On the day when the annual Mt. Fuji Hill Climb is held, which is usually on a weekend in June (schedule for 2018 is yet to be determined), the Fuji Subaru Line is closed until around 14:00. the tour will proceed on this day, and will head to Mt. Fuji 5th Station once the road is open to traffic and itinerary order and sightseeing locations will be changes. the Komagatake Ropeway and Lake Ashi Cruise will be changed to alternative itinerary. Please note that refunds will not be issued in this case, and customers will not be notified separately when the schedule has been determined. 
12. Please make sure to specify the meeting location and drop-off location at the time of booking. Please be aware that the specified meeting location and drop-off location may not be changed on the day of the tour. The bus may not stop by meeting locations and drop-off locations for which there are no prior reservations.
13. Arrival time at Hakone-en may vary depending on the season and day of the week due to traffic conditions, and may be considerably delayed. Thank you for your understanding.
14. The order of the tour itinerary is subject to change due to road conditions or other reasons.
15. Children up to 5 years old may join free of charge, but will not be provided with bus seats or lunch. If bus seats or lunch is required, please make a booking under the child rate.



Day 6: Shirakawa-go Tour

1. Depending on operational circumstances, certain tour dates may be cancelled, or tour operation may cease entirely.
The itinerary displayed on the booking screen is the final itinerary. A copy of the final itinerary will not be sent to participants.
*Seats on the bus may not be designated.
2. Children up to 5 years old may join free of charge, but will not be provided with bus seats or meals. If bus seats are necessary, please make a booking at the Child Rate. Children 12 years of age qualify for children’s rates. Ages are determined based on how old the participant will be on the day of the tour.
3. Meeting locations for this tour will be available at Takayama Green Hotel, Takayama Jinyamae Bus Stop (Honjin Hiranoya), Asahimachi Bus Stop (Ryokan Tanabe), and Hida Hotel Plaza, prior to the departure from Takayama Nohi Bus Center. Please select your preferred boarding location at the time of booking. If nothing is selected, reception will be conducted at the Takayama Nohi Bus Center meeting location. Changes to the boarding location may not be made on the day. Please show the reservation confirmation sheet to the staff when boarding the bus.
* For tours departing between Jan. 4, 2018 (Thu.) and Mar. 15, 2018 (Thu.), please note that drop-off at Asahimachi Bus Stop (Ryokan Tanabe) is not possible due to road construction. For customers boarding from the Takayama Nohi Bus Center, please conduct boarding reception at the ticket window.
4. Due to a special event or other reason, the lunch venue may be changed to a different venue located near Shirakawago or Suganuma. Please understand that there is no vegetarian option available.
Soba (buckwheat) noodles are included in the lunch menu. No changes to the menu can be made. No refunds will be issued even if the lunch is not eaten.
5. The tour uses a regular sightseeing bus that departs on schedule from each departure location. Please be aware that in the case that a customer boards the wrong vehicle, no tour booking charge refunds or compensation for accommodation or other expenses during the customer’s stay in Japan will be provided.
6. For safety reasons, always wear your seatbelt when the bus is moving.
Please stick to the scheduled times, as all participants travel together on this tour.
7. Please refrain from talking on the phone while on the bus.
8. Please note that the amount of time spent at destinations may be shortened or the itinerary may be altered depending on road conditions and other unavoidable circumstances.
9. The outdoor museum is closed on Thursdays from December to March (preceding Wednesday if Thursday is a national holiday), and cannot be entered. To make up for this, participants will receive a souvenir. The type of souvenir may vary. Thank you for your understanding.

Day 8: Kyoto Morning Tour
1. If the minimum number of participants (1) is not met by 4 days before the scheduled date, the tour on that date may be cancelled.
2. As Kyoto Imperial palace is closed on the following dates, tours on these dates will visit Kitano Tenmangu Shrine instead. (Monday, Tuesday if Monday is a national holoday, 14 - 17 May for the Aoi Festival, New Year's holodays, and whenever there is an Imperial Household event).
3. The tour will visit Nishi Hongan-ji Temple instead of Kitano Tenmangu Shrine on 25 September and 25 December.
4. Nijo Castle is closed on Tuesday in January, July, August and December (Closed on the following day if Tuesday is a holiday.) If the tour is during the year-end/New Year's holidays, Ryoan-ji Temple will be visited instead.
5. After sightseeing, the bus will stop by the lunch venue for the 1 day tour and then continue to Kyoto Station.
