Welcome! Upon arrival at Narita Airport, your driver will meet you at the arrival exit point and take you to your accommodation by shared taxi.

After breakfast, enjoy the Tokyo Morning Tour, visiting Tokyo Tower, the Imperial Palace Plaza, Sensoji Temple and Nakamise Shopping Street. Take the afternoon off to enjoy what Tokyo has to offer at leisure. Please look at our day tours section for options.

Day 3

Tokyo-Nikko-Tokyo (B, L)

After breakfast, enjoy the World Heritage Nikko Full Day Tour, visiting the Nikko Toshogu Shrine, and Kegon Falls, one of Nikko's three famous waterfalls; followed by a Japanese style lunch at a local restaurant. The tour will finish in the late evening in Shinjuku. Please make your own way to your hotel.

Tokyo-Mt.Fuji-Hakone (B, L, D)

Day 4

Tokyo-Mt.Fuji-Hakone (B, L, D)

Breakfast at your hotel. Your main suitcase will be transferred directly from the Tokyo hotel to Kyoto hotel. Travel by coach up to 2,300 meters on Japan's highest mountain, Mt. Fuji, to experience a spectacular view. After lunch, proceed for a sightseeing cruise on Lake Ashi and Mt. Komagatake Ropeway. After the tour, make your own way from Hakone Yumoto Station to your accommodation.

After breakfast, make your own way from your accommodation in Hakone to Kyoto.

After breakfast, catch the bullet train from Kyoto to Hiroshima, followed by a local train to Miyajimaguchi, where you will visit Miyajima Island and Itsukushina Shrine. End the day by returning to Hiroshima and visiting the Peace Memorial Park and Atomic Bomb Dome, and catching the bullet train from Hiroshima to Kyoto.

Day 7

Kyoto-Nara-Kyoto (B,L)

After breakfast, begin the day with morning sightseeing of Kyoto, visiting the Golden Pavilion, Nijo Castle and the Kyoto Imperial Palace. After lunch, travel to Nara, visiting Todaji Temple, which houses the Great Buddha. Nara Park is home to many tame deer which roam freely, as well as the colourful Kasuga Shrine, which is filled with 3,000 lanterns. End the day by returning back to Kyoto.

Following breakfast, spend part of the day exploring Kyoto at your own leisure, until it is time to take a bullet train back to Tokyo.

Remarks

Day 2. Tokyo Morning Tour
As the Royal Family New Year Greeting takes place at the Imperial Palace on Jan. 2nd, we will not be visiting the Imperial Palace on that day (we will be viewing the Palace from the bus).

Day 3. World Heritage Nikko Full Day Tour

  1. Due to expected traffic congestion during the peak autumn season, the tour will not visit the Kegon falls or Lake Chuzenji between 11th October and  6th November 2016. During these dates, the tour will visit either the Rinno-ji temple Taiyu- in Mausoleum, Nikko Futarasan Jinja Shrine, the Kirifuri falls or the Nikko tamozawa Imperial Villa.
    No refunds will be made even if substitutions mentioned in remarks 1 and 2 occur as a result of traffic conditions on dates not mentioned.
  2. The tour may also be changed to the above itinerary on dates other than that listed above due to traffic congestion, or other unforeseen circumstances. No refunds will be provided for changes in the itinerary.
  3. Note arrival times may be delayed due to traffic conditions as this tour will travel by bus.
  4. As temperatures drop in Nikko,it is highly recommednded to bring an overcoat or other warm clothing from fall to spring.
  5. This tour involves walking the hills and stairs of Toshogu Shrine and Kirifuri Falls. Comfortable, loose-fitting clothing and sneakers are recommended.
  6. Earphone devices will be provided at Nikko Toshogu Shrine in order to directly hear the tour guide. However this may not apply if there are less than 15 participants.
  7. A fine of JPY 10,000 may be charged if earphones are lost or damaged.
  8. Please note that due to repair and restoration work, part or all of Toshogu Shrine's Yomeimon Gate may not be visible.

Day 4. Mt. Fuji  & Hakone Tour

1.Please note that the tour may not visit the Mt. komagatake Ropeway in cases of heavy traffic. the tour will not be cancelled, and no refunds will be provided in such cases. In addition, the arrival time may also be delayed. ( The estimated arrival time is between 20:00-22:00)
2.If Fuji Visitor Centre is closed or the tour is behind schedule due to traffic the visit to Fuji Visitor Centre may be skipped.
3. If the roadway to Mt Fuji 5th station should be blocked due to road  surface freezing, the tour would be take to the highest elevation point possible.
4.As temperatures drop significantly on Mt. Fuji, it is highly recommended to bring an overcoat of other warm clothing from fall to spring.
5.The tour will not be cancelled or refunded even if the full view if Mt. Fuji is not visible due to weather conditions.
6.The Komagatake Ropeway or Lake Ashi cruise ma be omitted or substituted depending on traffic, weather conditions or other operational concerns. If either or both are omitted the following alternatives may be used:  Hakone Ropeway, Owakudani valley, Hakone  Check Point,  Narukawa Art Museum, Hakone Sekisho (checking station) remains, Lake Kawaguchi Cruise, pirate boat on Lake Ashi, Lake Kawaguchi Ropeway, Hakone-en Auqarium,Itchiku Kubota Art Museum. The tour will not be cancelled or refunded for such itinerary alteration.
7.Please apply GPS audio guide at the time of reservation. The number of GPS audio guides is limited, so they may not be available to each of you.
8.The tour guide may not accompany back to Tokyo from Odawara Station. In this case, the manner of returning will be informed in advance. 9.Note the bus may make multiple stops at hotels, in the Hakone area after sightseeing concludes.
10.If the minimum number of participants is not met by 4 days before a scheduled date, the tour on the date may be cancelled.

Day 6. Hiroshima & Miyajima Tour (Depart : Hiroshima)

1.The tour will be accompanied by a certified English-speaking guide or an English-speaking tour assistant. from Kyoto and Osaka Departure, English - speaking guide or assistance services is included except while on board the Shinkansen.
2, Minimum participants required : 2 persons.
   If the minimum number of participants is not met by 5 days before a scheduled date, the tour on that date may be cancelled.
3.According to the number of participants, transportation ( micro bus, taxi, train or tram) between Hiroshima and Miyajima will vary depending on the number of participants.
4.Lunch is not included in the tour.Please have lunch on your own at Miyajima.

Day 7. Kyoto & Nara 1 Day Tour

1. On Saturdays, Sundays, and national holidays, Kyoto Imperial Palace is closed. On these days, the tour will visit an alternative destination (Kitano-tenmangu). The same is true of the period before and after the public viewing of the Kyoto Imperial Palace in April and October, May 14 - 17 due to the Aoi Festival, and whenever there is an Imperial Household event.
2. Nishi Honganji temple will be visited on 25 Jun, 25 Sep, 25 Dec instead of Kitano-Tenmangu shrine.
3. On Tuesdays (Wednesday if Tuesday is a national holiday) in January, July, August, and December and the January holiday season, Nijo Castle is closed. The tour will visit Ryoanji Temple instead.
4. Please note that you will be asked to complete a form indicating your full name, nationality, gender, and age before entering Kyoto Imperial Palace.
5. Please provide advance notice if your group consists of five or more Japanese citizens. If you do not inform us of this information in advance, your party may be denied entry to Kyoto Imperial Palace.
6. At Kasuga Taisha Shrine, the tour will not enter areas requiring admission.
7. Drop-off service from Karasuma Kyoto Hotel and Hotel Nikko Princes Kyoto cannot be provided during Gion Festival (Saki Matsuri/ 14th - 16th July) due to traffic restrictions.
8. The tour may not visit Nara Nagomikan, if it is closed or due to traffic conditions.
9. Connection to the Kyoto Night Tour or Kyoto Maiko Tour is not possible.
10. A vegetarian meal is available. Please request upon reservation.
11.From Osaka Departure, Kintetsu train or a bus transportation will be used between Osaka and Kyoto, NARA and Osaka. If  using public transportation from Osaka to Kyoto or Nara to Osaka, that all trains have non-reserved seating. Please note that seating may not be available.
12. English speaking assistant will be accompanied the trip from Osaka to Kyoto and the return from Kitetetsu - Nara station to Osaka Namba station.
