Upon arrival at Narita Airport, take a  shared shuttle to your accommodation.

After breakfast, enjoy a Morning Tour of Tokyo, visiting Tokyo Tower, the Imperial Palace Plaza, Sensoji Temple and Nakamise Shopping Street. Take the afternoon off to enjoy what Tokyo has to offer at leisure.

Overnight at Shinjuku Washington Annex or similar (3 Star Hotel).

Tokyo-Nikko-Tokyo (B, L)

Day 3

Tokyo-Nikko-Tokyo (B, L)

After breakfast, enjoy the World Heritage Nikko Full Day Tour, visiting the Nikko Toshogu Shrine, and Kegon Falls, one of Nikko's three famous waterfalls; followed by a Japanese style lunch at a local restaurant. The tour will finish in the late evening in Shinjuku. Please make your own way back to hotel.

Tokyo-Mt.Fuji-Hakone (B, L, D)

Day 4

Tokyo-Mt.Fuji-Hakone (B, L, D)

Breakfast at your hotel. Your main suitcase will be transferred directly from the Tokyo to Kyoto. Travel by coach up to 2,300 meters on Japan's highest mountain, Mt. Fuji, to experience a spectacular view. After lunch at a local restaurant, proceed for a sightseeing cruise on Lake Ashi and Mt. Komagatake Ropeway. After the tour, make your own way from Hakone Yumoto Station to your accommodation.

After breakfast, make your own way from your accommodation in Hakone to Kyoto.

After breakfast, catch the bullet train from Kyoto to Hiroshima, meet your guide and proceed by local train to Miyajimaguchi, where you will visit Miyajima Island and Itsukushima Shrine. End the day by returning to Hiroshima and visiting the Peace Memorial Park / Museum and Atomic Bomb Dome. The tour will finish at Hiroshima Station and you will catch the bullet train back to Kyoto.

Kyoto-Nara-Kyoto (B,L)

Day 7

Kyoto-Nara-Kyoto (B,L)

After breakfast begin the day with a morning sightseeing tour of Kyoto, visiting the Golden Pavilion, Nijo Castle and the Kyoto Imperial Palace. After lunch, travel to Nara, visiting Todaji Temple, which houses the Great Buddha and Nara Park which is home to many tame deers that roam freely. Lastly head to Kasuga Shrine, which is filled with 3,000 lanterns before returning back to Kyoto.

Remarks

Day 2. Tokyo Morning Tour
As the Royal Family New Year Greeting takes place at the Imperial Palace on Jan. 2nd, we will not be visiting the Imperial Palace on that day (we will be viewing the Palace from the bus).

Day 3. World Heritage Nikko Full Day Tour

1. Heavy traffic due to colored leaves is expected every year on Irohazaka Winding Road from Oct. 11 to Nov. 6. Therefore, Kegon Falls and Lake Chuzenji will not be visited during this period. In such cases, one of the following will be visited instead of Kegon Falls: Taiyuuin Mausoleum at Rinno-ji Temple, Futarasan Shrine, Kirifuri Falls, or Tamozawa Imperial Villa. (2017: Oct. 10 to Nov. 5)

2.. The alternative plan outlined in Remark #2 above may be used even outside of the designated period due to road conditions or other reasons.
No refunds will be issued as a result of location changes.

3. . Please note that due to major repair and restoration work, the sleeping cat carving, three monkeys carving and part or all of Yomeimon Gate will not be visible at Toshogu Shrine.   (*Planned Renovation Periods Sleeping Cat: June to December 2016 Three Monkeys: June 2016 to March 2017)

4. The tour will walk up and down steps and hilly paths at Nikko Toshogu Shrine and Kegon Falls. Be sure to wear comfortable clothes and shoes.

5. An earphone guide will be provided to each participant at Nikko Toshogu Shrine. However, if there are 15 or fewer participants, earphone guides may not be used.
A fee of JPY 10,000 may be incurred if an earphone guide is lost or damaged by a participant.

6. As the tour uses a bus for the entire itinerary, arrivals at each site may be delayed due to road conditions.

7. Vegetarian meals, wheat allergy meals, and soy allergy meals must be requested at the time of booking.

Day 4. Mt. Fuji  & Hakone Tour

1. Order of the tour itinerary is subject to change due to road conditions.
2. GPS-equipped audio guides are available in Chinese and Spanish. Please make a request when booking if you would like an audio guide. There are a limited number of audio guides available, so it may not be possible to provide one for each participant. Also, no refunds will be issued even if the audio guide is unusable due to weak signal, device issues, Wi-Fi malfunction, etc. Please inform us when booking if you would like an audio guide. Requests made on the day of the tour will not be accepted. (For tours in 2017, 6 languages are available: Chinese, Spanish, Italian, Thai, French, and Indonesian)
3. If Mt. Fuji's 5th Station cannot be reached due to road surface freezing or an accident on the Fuji Subaru Line, the tour will be taken to the highest elevation point possible. No alternative destinations are planned when the tour reaches beyond the 1st station. When the tour has to turn back at the 1st station, or when the Fuji Subaru Line is completely blocked, the tour will visit Lake Kawaguchi or Fuji Visitor Center. Please note that an alternative itinerary may also be omitted depending on road conditions.
4. Mt. Fuji's 5th Station is typically 10 to 15 degrees Celsius colder than Tokyo. On tours from autumn to spring, please bring a coat and other warm clothing.
5. Due to weather conditions, Mt. Fuji may not be visible even from the base. However, the tour will not be cancelled and refunds will not be given for this reason.
6.. If the Lake Ashi Cruise or Komagatake Ropeway are not running due to inclement weather or maintenance, or as a result of road or organization circumstances, they may be omitted and replaced with one or more of the following:
Mori Art Museum of Hakone Glass, Hakone-en Aquarium, Hakone Ropeway, Hakone Pirate Ship, Narukawa Art Museum, Hakone Checkpoint, Lake Kawaguchi Cruise, Lake Kawaguchi Ropeway, Itchiku Kubota Art Museum, Hakone Shrine, etc., but this will not be used as a reason to cancel the tour, and refunds will not be given for this reason.
7. Allergy-friendly meals, etc. are not available. Customers with allergies should reserve the tour without lunch included.
8. After sightseeing is finished, the bus may make multiple stops at hotels in the Hakone area.
9. As there is no space for bus parking directly by Hakone-Yumoto Station, the bus will drop participants off at a location about 15 minutes on foot from the station. Thank you for your understanding.

 

Day 6. Hiroshima & Miyajima Tour (Depart : Hiroshima)

1.The tour will be accompanied by a certified English-speaking guide or an English-speaking tour assistant. from Kyoto and Osaka Departure, English - speaking guide or assistance services is included except while on board the Shinkansen.
2, Minimum participants required : 2 persons.
   If the minimum number of participants is not met by 5 days before a scheduled date, the tour on that date may be cancelled.
3.According to the number of participants, transportation ( micro bus, taxi, train or tram) between Hiroshima and Miyajima will vary depending on the number of participants.
4.Lunch is not included in the tour. Please have lunch on your own at Miyajima.

Day 7. Kyoto & Nara 1 Day Tour

1. On Saturdays, Sundays, and national holidays, Kyoto Imperial Palace is closed. On these days, the tour will visit an alternative destination (Kitano-tenmangu). The same is true of the period before and after the public viewing of the Kyoto Imperial Palace in April and October, May 14 - 17 due to the Aoi Festival, and whenever there is an Imperial Household event.
2. Nishi Honganji temple will be visited September 25 and December 25.
3. On Tuesdays (Wednesday if Tuesday is a national holiday) in January, July, August, and December and the January holiday season, Nijo Castle is closed. The tour will visit Ryoanji Temple instead.
4. Please note that you will be asked to complete a form indicating your full name, nationality, gender, and age before entering Kyoto Imperial Palace.
5. Please provide advance notice if your group consists of five or more Japanese citizens. If you do not inform us of this information in advance, your party may be denied entry to Kyoto Imperial Palace.
6. At Kasuga Taisha Shrine, the tour will not enter areas requiring admission.
7. Drop-off service from Karasuma Kyoto Hotel and Hotel Nikko Princes Kyoto cannot be provided during Gion Festival (Saki Matsuri/ 14th - 16th July) due to traffic restrictions.
8. The tour may not visit Nara Nagomikan, if it is closed or due to traffic conditions.
9. Connection to the Kyoto Night Tour or Kyoto Maiko Tour is not possible.
10. A vegetarian meal is available. Please request upon reservation.
11.From Osaka Departure, Kintetsu train or a bus transportation will be used between Osaka and Kyoto, NARA and Osaka. If  using public transportation from Osaka to Kyoto or Nara to Osaka, that all trains have non-reserved seating. Please note that seating may not be available.
12. English speaking assistant will be accompanied the trip from Osaka to Kyoto and the return from Kitetetsu - Nara station to Osaka Namba station.
