Explore Kyoto’s gorgeous forests, just one step away from the hustle and bustle of Japan’s ancient capital. Kyoto is surrounded by mountains on three sides and boasts some fantastic hiking courses. The “Kyoto Trail”, a horseshoe-shaped path running through the mountains around central Kyoto is one such hike beloved by locals. Enjoy the Higashiyama portion of this pleasantly invigorating trail, led by one of our certified nature guides.
