Hi Yuki,
Just letting you know that Kathy and I are back from our 4 week holiday in Japan.
We had a wonderful time, visiting, Tokyo, Osaka, Kyoto, Hiroshima, Hakodate, Sapporo, Daisetsuzen and Nagoya. Thanks to your helpful advice and thoughtful planning we had many rich experiences, and return to Australia with great memories. Highlights for us were the friendliness of the Japanese people, the Sumo, Kabuki, the Shinkansen, the food and the gardens.
The Japan Rail Pass worked beautifully, the Sumo was fantastic and the Hotel and Air Package was very good. I should let you know Grand Hotel Daisetsu was a little run down, but I used the onsen, the traditional Japanese room was charming and Mt Asahidake awesome!
