Tomamu, located in central Hokkaido. It's near Sahoro and is situated 150km east of Sapporo close to the Hidaka National Park.

Restaurants & Nightlife
Tomamu resort has over 20 restaurants and cafes. There is good selections from traditional Japanese to French - Italian fusion. Many of the restaurants are buffets of exceptional quality.
CAT Ski & Back Country Tours
Central Hokkaido is blessed with various mountains within easy driving distance.
Asahidake, Kurodake, Sahorodake, are just several examples of moutains surrounding Tomamu that are heaven to those powder seekers.
Nobody know the mountain better than Tomamu Powder Team who has spent many seasons carefully observing the surrounding mountains.
"Powder Area Registration Desk" is the information centre of Tomamu's powder conditions. To enjoy riding in the Experts-Only Powder Area, you must first visit this desk, obtain information about the snow condition, sign-in and receive a bib. ICE VILLAGE
Ice Village, a village made only of ice and snow appears in the center of the resort for a limited time in winter.
A skate rink, ice bar, ice restaurant and ice chapel offers a unique experience to it's visitors.

MINA-MINA BEACH
One of Japan's largest indoor wave pools.
No matter how cold it is outside, the inside is kept at tropical 30 degrees.
Imagine floating on warm water in your swim suits watching white snow falling outside the window.
A perfect place to spend a day away from the cold.
TERRACE OF THE FROST TREE
Frost TreeIt is phenomenon that atmospheric steam and fog reach trees in below-zero environment.
"The rime on trees" (juhyo) which the name is known to more is kind of this Frost Tree.
The terrace of the Frost Tree is 13 minutes away on the Unkai Gondola from the Resort Center of Base.
Please enjoy the superb view from the Terrace of the Frost Tree (summer "UNKAI TERRACE (the Cloud Sea Terrace)") of 1,088m above sea level.
